What about the Paranormal makes us fear?

The great lake state offers a lot of evidence that might just give us the answers we seek, while showing us what we don't want to admit.

Throughout our researching and our investigations into the unseen and the tip toeing shadows of the night, only one thing remains constant and that is fear. What makes us fear what we don't understand? What about the paranormal makes our heart race and our stomachs drop when we see an unmanned shadow enter a doorway. Mortality? Cowardliness? Or is it more simple than that? One investigation The Spooked Chicken conducted may offer a glimpse into what we fear.

The unseen are most commonly felt as malevolent given the fact that they can't be understood. Never knowing exactly what they want or what their purpose is. However, during this particular investigation The Spooked Chicken found not only what sounds to be a malevolent spirit of some kind, but also looks the part.

The investigation was conducted in a small home located right outside of Frankenmuth. The home was built in the 1970's and nothing on the outside would indicate anything sinister. During the investigation into the basement team leader Boyd Levitt and lead researcher Courtney A. Levitt decided to conduct an EVP session while asking for permission for whatever would like to communicate to show themselves on camera. While snapping some pictures and taking some time with the recorder, the team eventually moved on from the basement and worked their way into the living room, then bedroom by bedroom snapping photos and taking as much audio recordings as possible given that whatever is in the home has no problem communicating in this way. (if you have not read that article click here and read that first). After sometime doing this the team decided to pack up, call it a day and head back to review their recordings and photos. It did not take long to find that when investigating this 'quiet' home, there was much to be heard.

Viewer discretion is advised.

What did you hear? If it is the same as what The Spooked Chicken heard then fear is an appropriate response. It is important to know sometimes spirits can wait so long for help that once someone is willing to listen or are open to help, sometimes they don't want to be patient anymore.

Now if you think that was spooky The Spooked Chicken, while conducting the EVP, also was flashing photos before and during the session. After reviewing the audio, team leader Boyd Levitt moved on to the photos taken of that night. These are some of the photos.

Before

Moments after

*Black mass appears on steps after finishing EVP session heading back up the stairs after spirit reaches out on recorder. Flash was on for both photos.*

Orb to the right of the pull barn

The Spooked Chicken also captured what seems to be a orb that appeared later that night during the night portion of the investigation. Is this the same spirit of the voice with the sinister message? Or is it possible it's another faceless spirit that once walked this ground.

Now, to the question, why do we fear the paranormal? Simply put, it's different for everyone. Whether it be; intentions, the dark, shadow's or voices, its similar to the same reason why we fear people we don't know. Intent. I'll leave you with this last question..

What is your reason to have fear?
